Dear Mr. President, Look at Our Country and Let Us Change It

There is something wrong with our country. I know you wanted to change it long before you were not yet the president of this country. I know the difficulties in providing permanent solutions to the cancer of this society. The thinking of the people is so much polluted and it is literally reflecting on the environment where we live. Our government, the organization where you are the leader, has tried many times and still keep on trying to lift up the dignity of this nation. But I know it’s really hard. This is where the very well known feast celebration of the Black Nazarene, Jesus Christ's image, is being celebrated every January 9 of each year. Thousands of devoted Catholics are here to express their faith and endless beliefs to the miracle that it could bring to their life. Eighty five percent of the Philippines' population are Catholics and to see them gathered altogether during the procession of the image is a very spectacular view. On the Photo: Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo, Philippines Quiapo Church has been there since 1789. Long story to tell on how this church came into being but the architecture of this structure is purely based from the Spanish concept and culture. Today, the church is considered as one of the most holy places out of the 600,000 religious structures built on the land. Other than
